Call Centre Customer Services Apprenticeships & Training
Customer Service Apprenticeship
It takes a special kind of person to work in our Customer Service Contact Centres. Our customers think of them as guardian angels. In reality, they come from all walks of life, but they do all have one thing in common a passion for helping others. So, whether you've thought you don't have the right skills or that the hours or even the environment wouldn't suit you: maybe it's time to think again. At CPP we believe that there is a great pool of talent on our doorstep. People like you.
There are currently 6-8 places up for grabs as part of our current Customer Service Apprenticeship scheme, with training commencing in early February. Working in Partnership with YH Training, professionals in the delivery of NVQ and Apprenticeship qualifications, you'll be given all the training and support you need to make the most of the opportunity.
What is a CPP Apprenticeship?
Put simply, it's an opportunity to earn while you learn. Not only will you be working towards an NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service/Contact Centre, you'll also gain valuable work experience, have the chance of a permanent position at the end of the program, and be paid at the same time.
More About the Role
This is a Customer Service Role.
Never worked in a contact centre? No problem. Putting our customers' needs
at the centre of your day; your warmth and helpfulness will soon put them at
ease. We'll teach you the rest. Handling incoming calls, you'll be a
reassuring voice - the first point of contact who not only deals with
customer enquiries quickly and efficiently when the worst does happen, but
also guides them through the choice of other useful products in our range,
so that they¹re even better protected in the future.
During your training, you'll be working from 9-5, Monday to Friday. Once your training is over, you'll be working between 10am and 7pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, with alternative Tuesday's and Saturday's.
More About Training
If you're successful in your application, you'll have 4-6 weeks pre-training at YH Training's premises, in York. Your Team Manager and Trainer will join you every week to see how you're getting on and to provide any additional support.
Once your pre-training is complete, you'll join CPP's Training Induction Course at our Holgate Park site in York. After this two week classroom-based training, you'll then join our Customer Service Academy. Here you'll get the chance to put your training into practice taking live calls for the first time. But don't worry. It will still be in a learning environment, with coaches on hand to help you build your skills and your confidence. Once you're ready, usually after about 2 -3 weeks, you'll be joining your Team Manager on department.
Your learning doesn't end there though! We'll continue to develop and support you, giving you every opportunity to develop and impress. YH Training will also be there to support you on a regular basis to help you attain your NVQ Qualification. And of course we have our very own Learning Solutions Team to ensure you can start building your future career with CPP.
Salary
£80.00 per week during your 4-6 pre training with YH Training £4.80 per hour once you join CPP Induction and Academy £6.00 per hour plus bonus potential once you start Hitting Performance Targets

Application Process
Once your application has been received you'll be contacted and taken through our first interview stage. If you're successful at this stage you'll be invited to one of our CPP Experience Days.

And remember, it's just as important for you to like us, as it is for us to like you - so don't forget to ask lots of questions.
